About me
You are reading the ravings of a food, wine and theatre obsessed ex-software engineer… actually, I think I prefer “technically-minded food, wine and theatre junkie”. I was, until recently, “The Debugger Guy” for BEA Systems but more importantly, I am a wine industry generalist and sometime stage actor, now based McMinnville, OR (recently Portland, previously LA, Seattle and elsewhere) and a creator of fine, fattening cuisine (see Dinner Watch for details).
Originally, I set out to write about Economics because I was seriously considering going for a PHD. Then I realized that I just don’t like economists very much, so I decided against it. So I continued to work in the software industry and acted in shows when I could. I am currenly working for Chehalem Winery in the Northern Willamette Valley.
When time permits, I will use this blog to write about food, wine, theatre, politics or whatever else strikes my fancy. Look out for wine reviews, recipes and the occasional political rant.
Enjoy.
